AvonDecoratingCenter.com is a home and business decorating resource center. As a corporate website for the Maryland based chain of decorating centers, it enables users to see the products and vendors the store supports. Resource links to vendor websites increase the usefulness and information it can lend to users of the site. The website is also used to list special deals and promotions a particular vendor may be running at that time.

Site History:
Avon Decorating Center decided that they needed to reach out via the web and has now launched its first website. The main purpose of the site focuses on contractors and industry sales. There isn't a need to sell paint brushes online, and Avon knows that. The site was constructed as an information offering customers pertaining to types and scope of products offered through their decorating centers. When ordering paint, wallpaper, flooring and window treatments, there are always questions so speaking with a sales rep is the preferred method of placing an order and phone numbers are listed on the site.

Client Status:
The site is still in its infancy stages and they are continuing to update the site. While some content may be sparse, plans for a big content push is planned as well as added modules to make the site more robust and offer more to visitors.
